Dwayne Gibson, affectionately known as ‘Gip’ was born and
raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. Gip graduated from the
Second Helping Culinary Program, industry working for
some of the largest Upscale/5-Star hotels and country clubs
and 15 years of catering experience.
Gips passion for bringing back the family gathering feel and
his talent for providing consistent, perfectly seasoned
smoked meats quickly went from a Backyard BBQ hustle in
Jan. 2020 to a thriving family owned & operated carry-out
restaurant in Nov 2021.
Gip attributes much of his success
to his wife and partner Stephanie Gibson.
